SHARING WITH GREAT PEOPLE

It was amazing sharing with students that are about to graduate as English Professor and with professors from my especiality at the Activate E-Teacher Program conference. The presentation of Stephanie Hanson was awesome, so much that I ordered the movie that she showed at the event. Something that called my attention about this movie was the weird interaction between the physics lecturer and his sleepy students at the beginning of the story.

Besides I assisted to the presentation of professor Yohimar Sivira about the use of journals through an online system named Penzu, which is kind like the same thing with Blogger that our professor in reading and writing gave us as a tool to improve our English skill for this semester.  So it does not matter if wether you like or not technology, you have to use it within this knowledge Age.

Also I went to Joyce's presentation about Integrated Skill, which I found so interesting  because it is the way you combine the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to teach English to young learners and about how many steps you should follow on an activity to success teaching.
Picking colourful materials, resistant and checking always because apparently kids love counting.
On that presentation I had the opportunity to work with Yossangely and we invented or imagined an activity related to animals with a song plus missing letters to complete the name of the animals on a card. A cool activity by the way.
Many classmates and I are expecting to go to the next Ventesol that is going to be in Valencia, a chance to meet new friends and to establish excellent relationships with your friends at the university, asking, buying novels and stuffs.

Teenagers privacy o.O

About the essay from Haim Ginott, It's hard to deal with teenagers because they think that they know everything about life, thinking how the world works and that is a wrong perception of them. Sometimes parents abuse violating the privacy of their sons but may be this is because they are afraid to lose their sons or their love, just because they are growing up too fast or something like that.
If something is true about this, is that your parents (or closer relatives) are going to give you the best 'cause they concern about you, as simple as that.

We have to consider advices and warnings from our parents, without thinking that they are trying to control us, such a thing has a reason! What is that? -Well, most of the time they had lived similar situations that we are living for the first time and that experience of them could save us from a moment disastrous of our life.Having brothers, living with your grandma or even working since you are such a child, might affect the way you treat people that surround you.
Earning experience, independence or just knowing the true meaning of a friendship, could help you to understand how different we are from other people and within this group, we will realize that our parents shine over the rest, without hesitation to say to you: I'm here.

Opinion n° 2

Why do I consider Bertrand Russell's Autobiography "What I have lived for" as interesting? Because the fact that he had tried to understand the hearts of men while he was looking for love and was trying to reach the truth and the value of living at the same time, its not easy to do.
Through life, we lose important people (relatives), money, jobs, opportunities to do different things and those kinds of situations probably could define who you are and what you do.
Loving, learning new things every day and doing what you like to do with passion, It will help you to get wiser. Putting in contact with a better "you", someone that could know more than yesterday and less than tomorrow, working hard each day, of course.
Do you have the chance to borrow a dictionary and look for a word? -Yes...
-Then Why are you laughing when a colleague is using it? You should respect his moment to explain an information or an idea and, importantly, recognizing that this person could give you his hand when the hollowness of your thoughts do not let you taste the flavor of truth.
Laughing is great? -Yes! but laugh WITH THEM,not of them! Whatever you do, do it with passion and always respecting the others, because only this way will get you to a life of glory, happiness and calm about the monster of ignorance that surround you at many levels every second of your life. And like my uncle says "Accuracy is not coincidence", so keep working buddy! your future will be thankful for it... :)

My opinion about "Paper is Patient".

If something seems to be clear about "Paper is Patient" by Anne Frank, is that her childhood was difficult, so much that she doesn't even had such a friend or someone like that. She had to resort to a diary, to express her thoughts and feelings about what she was going through, apparently because around her, she did not find enough confidence in people to consider them as "friends".
What do you value on a person to consider itself as a friend? -Their money? -Their knowledge? -Their age? Only you could answer that question!
Anne answered to that! How? Writing on a diary, giving it a meaning, knowing that her trust would never be broken for this thing.
Anne died on a concentration camp, so young, but with a clear point of life, getting into a world of loneliness and at the same time, a world of truth.    Sometimes we have to suffer to learn how the reality's works, don't you think?

EXPECTATIONS

I hope to improve my writing skill progressively, this should be the goal of all of us as an English students. Using the blog as an important tool to share with our colleagues at the university and other friends who are interested in languages, let them know our thoughts and feelings about several topics of study or life. Every opinion should be respected and If we make a mistake, we have to be smart enough to noticed that and correct it or, at less, have an open mind to learn from the help of others who could be just giving us advices about our spelling mistakes or something like that.  Remember that every day its an opportunity to grow up and be a better person than yesterday so keep working and don't lose your way! (like Al Pacino said on a famous movie to Hilary Swank)- Insomnia.
Peace! XD

My passions
One of the biggest passions that have governed my life has been Football Soccer.
From the very first moment that I had the opportunity to practice any sport,  Soccer was the chosen one! Since I was a child, I've been playing with my brother all the time, he's one year older than me, so we have been training in the same categories until now! You should know that I suffered a big injury in the life of a soccer-player,  a torn ligament on my knee, two years ago, but thanks God I was operated with success and I can play soccer again. Unfortunately not at the same level that I used to, but at least my soul has been happy lately and, that's a relief.

My second passion in concerned about languages, taking English as the most valuable tool to communicate with people around the world and also to teach people right here in our country that don't consider this language as a chance to express your thoughts  and letting people know about what you do and what you can do to make this world better.

My last passion have to be Hip Hop Music, which I found really amazing! I've been writing songs (in Spanish for the moment, about English I'm working on it!) in the last four years, even as a present for a girl in her birthday, which she loved. A lot of people think this kind of music is for poor people or people from the streets, and just don't know that, as music itself, it's a wonderful way to communicate and express what you're thinking or living at the moment you write.
Why Do I consider this type of music as great?  -Because you have to handle a vocabulary enough to not repeating the same words again and again. Besides, you have to think really fast and coordinate inside of your mind, before saying any word. I remember when I was in my four year at high-school that I actually wrote a song when I was in a biology class. My brother made the beat with his mouth and a friend and I sang our lyrics and, surprisingly, our professor (a women) was excited about our performance and the whole class were clapping and screaming! A moment that Hip Hop gave us to be famous. Thank you, Hip Hop.

COMPLAIN!!!! waooooo that is a word that makes you think you know?It is like when you are sitting on a bus travelling on the high-way and the people who did not have the opportunity to get a chair or spot on the bus have to take back (which is dangerous but in this country people do not care about it because there is a need to get at home), they just do not say a word and suddenly you are like: -Come on! this bus does not move! I'm really tired from such a horrible day!- and everybody is looking at you like... -Really? at least you are sitting so shut up before we all hit you! o.O

Meanwhile, there is an old lady which  says: -There is no more gentlemen anymore!
and a guy who is next to her responds: -Of course we're still here! the problem is that there isn't more spots to sitting mrs.! And the fight begins...
young students start talking about why it is so important to waking up early in the morning not to fight with stupid people on the bus.
The man who is coming to charge for tells you that this is  not his business, that he is just doing his job. A policeman was sleeping on the bus, woke up and just kept like if he was still sleeping! unbelievable! Then you see a little kid that says:
-Mami, I want an ice-cream for lunch! and his mother starts to explain him about that something like that is not real food and gives him a little talk about nutrition and you are listening behind them like:
-Hey! get him the ice-cream and let us enjoy the discussion of the old lady! XD

And you realize that the next bus-stop is yours and you have to leave the bus thinking that : -This is my beautiful country! DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT! ENJOY!
